About the course: 

  • 50 hours of in-depth instruction.
  • Classes include soils, botany, pest management, landscaping, vegetables & fruit, and pruning.
  • Master Gardener internship after the class provides real world experience with horticulture education.

2025 Prince George Master Gardener Horticulture Scholarship

One of the purposes of the Prince George Master Gardener Association (PGMGA) is public education. The Prince George Master Gardener Association is pleased to offer at least one (1) scholarship of a minimum of one thousand ($1000.00) dollars per year to enable students to study in a plant science related field, including but not limited to horticulture, botany, and agronomy, forestry, landscape architecture/design, and turf management. These scholarships can be awarded to high school seniors or to students entering a college/university for the first time as a full-time student. Please click the link below to complete the application.
